On 14th April, The Sugarmen take to the stage at Scholar Bar for Leicester’s monthly This Feeling club night. Having spent the last 18 months honing their sound and playing to rapturous crowds supporting the likes of Blur, The Who, Paul Weller and Sleaford Mods, this show is not to be missed.
Next Jack Rocks The Hope and Ruin in Brighton when Acid Box presents Psych de Soleil on the 15th. Starting at 2pm, the Queens Road venue hosts Bondi's Salvation, Sick Hyenas, Speak Galactic and Uncle Jimmy's Wandering Hand Band, taking you from day to night with rocking psych sounds.
Ducking Punches weave stories of love and friendship into their all bearing lyrics and passionate live show at The Joiners on the 16th. So swap your quiet Sunday for some live and loud music.
Then, Brighton Feminist Collective bring you some of the best female talent at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar on the 28th. Catch Stranger Girl, a local four-piece and their shimmering garage sound, and Secret Tongues, a reverb drenched punk band from London for a night you won’t forget.
